SIN is the reason why this world (our Titanic) is sinking. and instead of us fleeing unto the lifeboat that is Jesus, we prefer to stay on the sinking ship, enjoying it’s luxuries, and trusting human ingenuity to save it.
1 John 2:17 that “…the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.”
Although the ship is sinking, the world encourages us to stay on it. To enjoy it’s luxuries. To live in the moment, and enjoy the ride. To store up memories and take selfies aboard the Titanic. They tell us, “come work on the Titanic and keep it afloat.”

The decision is yours. Will you stay on that sinking ship, or will you leave it and board the lifeboat that is Jesus; the only way that promises to bring you to safe harbour… eternity with our Creator (John 14:6).The world says: You’re fine! You’ve got this! You don’t need anybody! Just keep improving yourself. Do YOU! You’re enough! Exalt yourself!
The Bible says: Submit to God. Draw near to God. Cleanse your hands (deeds). Purify your hearts. Mourn over your sin. Humble yourself… and in return… The LORD WILL EXALT YOU!.
